Bitterley is a village and Parish in South Shropshire with a population of approximately 900 people. It lies 4 miles East of Ludlow and includes the slopes of Titterstone Clee Hill. The Civil Parish of Bitterley is divided into two wards - Bitterley and Cleeton St Mary with the latter being on the Eastern side of Clee Hill. It includes the settlements of Bitterley, Middleton, Henley, Dhustone, Farden, Angel Bank, Ledwyche, Bedlam and Snitton. There are two grade 2* listed buildings within the parish - Bitterley Court and Henley Hall.
